1. Who may leave a review
Only members with a genuine, verifiable professional relationship with the person or company being reviewed — a project, engagement, employment, or transaction. We may request evidence of the relationship.
2. Verified vs unverified reviews
Reviews marked verified have passed our validation: the relationship and key facts were checked by our AI-assisted, HR-validated workflow. Unverified reviews are labelled as such and carry less weight in Trust Scores.
3. Prohibited practices
- Reviewing yourself, relatives, or in exchange for payment or reciprocal reviews.
- Fake, incentivised, or coordinated reviews; review bombing; extortion via review threats.
- Confidential or personal information the subject hasn’t made public.
- Defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory content.
4. Disputes & right of response
Review subjects may respond publicly and dispute a review’s factual accuracy. Disputed reviews are re-examined; where facts can’t be substantiated, the review is removed or marked unverified. We don’t remove reviews merely for being negative.
5. Removal & penalties
Reviews violating this Policy are removed. Members who submit fraudulent reviews face verification revocation, Trust Score penalties, or termination under our Community Guidelines.
6. Appeals
Appeal any review decision within 30 days via hello@xtallo.com, or escalate to our Grievance Officer.
