How to choose a voice for your AI caller
The voice changes the booking rate more than most of the pitch does — and the only honest way to pick one is to run two on the same words and count.
Accent first, then everything else
A US voice reading an Indian name loses the caller in the first sentence. Match the accent to who is picking up before you consider anything else about the voice.
Stability: why a collections voice should be flat
Stability is how much a voice wanders and emotes. High for collections and screening, where feeling reads as pressure or verdict. Lower for reminders, where a little warmth is the point.
Same pitch, two voices: the comparison that works
Put two voices on identical words and the same list, dealt evenly, and count bookings per connected call. That difference is the voice. Do not call a winner before thirty connected calls each; on a sample of nine, everything is noise.
Hindi, Hinglish and code-switching mid-sentence
Indian business calls switch language mid-sentence — numbers and names in English, the rest in Hindi. A voice that cannot do that sounds like a dictionary. Two of our built-in voices were chosen specifically because they can.
Where to go from here
